These worked great...for gloves. I usually wear mittens with glove liners underneath and these were the first gloves that actually kept my hands warm. If you're one of those that takes off her gloves to strap in to your bindings, these may not be the best. There is a fleecy inside and it can make it difficult to get in and out of the gloves.
I've been through my fair share of gloves and I have to say, these gloves are the cream of the crop. My hands have NEVER gotten wet and has NEVER gotten any where near cold. I had some Hotties hot packets I really wanted to try out, but couldn't because there was absolutely no need. The gauntlet style and cinch cord really keeps the pow out and the leather accents are tough. Nothing in life is perfect, so the only bad thing about these might be that it could use some more dexterity. But if you want them to last, I'd gladly give some dexterity up. Also, the hot packets SEEM like it was bigger than the internal pocket could hold, but that's just a guess since I never had the need to use them.
