The DAKINE Men's Cobra GT Glove is combines the benefits of leather gloves with synthetic insulation, and a Gore-tex lining. Pre-curved finger construction, coupled with a leather palm, lends a solid grip on ski poles and durability for cranking snowboard bindings day after day. The waterproof neoprene wrist cuff puts the kibosh on inbound snow. Nylon Flextough panels are ready to enjoy seasons of abuse. And finally, there's a nose wipe panel on the thumb so you can approach that betty in the pipe sans snot.
Bottom Line: Cobra Commander wore these back when he skied.

| I have used these gloves around town, in the backcountry, off-piste and lift skiing, and they have performed above the price I paid. If you are susceptible to freezing digits, these gloves will be your savior (they keep my hands on the borderline of being to warm). This is one of the best ski gloves I have ever owned. What keeps the rating below a 5 is the bulkiness of the glove, but a minor objection. |

| These gloves kept my hands warm in -40C, but the stitching in the thumb did tear after a few days of use. It’s easy to fix but could make you cold if it grows. |

| Dakine Cobra gloves kick a.. 10-18-06 |

| I had the bronco gloves for roughly two seasons, and never had a problem with my hands getting cold. The Cobra is a beefier glove than the Bronco, and has the same feel and fit as the Bronco. So far we have two resorts opened, and I have yet to dislike this new set. I recommend these to the hardcore skiers/riders that want the most warmth, and grab-ability out of a lightweight glove. |
