Description of Cutter Classic Merino Jersey - Men's: |
 |
The Cutter Classic Merino Jersey’s 18-micron, New Zealand merino wool feels like heaven's saving power whether you’re braving the city’s bloodflow of cars on the way to work or just heading to the titty bar with the dudes. Zip into the Classic’s soft merino goodness, pull the crack-covering gripper hem over your ass, stash your phone and wallet in the zippered safety pocket, and get pedaling. Reflective hits on the Classic’s forearms give motorists the heads up when the sun is on break, and the ergonomic fit feels almost as nice as an evening with your lady.
Bottom Line: Merino is king.

| Best merino long sleve. period. 08-01-09 |

| I've used many merino products, from icebreaker, swobo, wind&rider and this would top the list.
6'2 175, L
The fit had just the right amount of bag, one wash cycle and 15min low tumble dry gave it a perfect like-a-glove fit.
The 18micron merino is not necessarily the best there is, just the one I prefer most. Not as thick or as heavy a knit as swobo. It has a very techy feel like icebreaker but has a better feel on the skin when damp/wicking.
The reflector tape and green zippers have great night visibility without looking like a crossing guard.
The grip tape on the back works like a charm, it has a slight heft which really helps to keeps the shirt from bunching and keep you from tugging.
The back pockets are deep, finding smaller objects can be a chore when mixed with larger objects. This is easily the most comfortable jersey I've used for carrying everything you need in your back pockets.
Finishing off the fine cut and stitching, the smooth zipper is very well designed both functionally and aesthetically. This is the first jersey that I've used that has no bunching from the zipper.
The collar has good neck coverage and allows airflow when unzipped.
Uber recommended. |

| Very, very nice 07-09-09 |

| You have to love merino wool - it's like wearing a space suit, keeps you warm when it's cold and keeps you cool when it's hot. This is a very nice, full-zip merino wool jersey with a close (but not painted-on) fit, the right number of pockets (including a wee little zip pocket for keys or an MP3 player), and great performance. The wool is very soft and luxurious, but the whole thing seems solidly constructed and although I haven't worn it too many times it seems like it will last. Nice understated color and design, too, so you don't like like a walking billboard. Runs true to size. I've tried merino wool jerseys from Swobo and Sugoi as well - they're all very good, and this one is definitely neck and neck with the famous Swobos. I happened to find it on Bonktown at a good discount, which made it even sweeter. |

| A Very Good Bike Jersey 06-17-09 |

| This jersey is comfortable, breathable, and is the right thickness for spring/summer riding. The zipper comes up a bit high under the chin, but overall, this is a good complement to the cycling wardrobe. |
