Description of Castelli Pioggia Rain Jacket - Men's:
Drizzle or downpour, when you're biking in the Castelli Men's Pioggia Rain Jacket, you'll stay dry … and seen. Castelli treated this cycling jacket's waterproof Torrent fabric with a Durable Water Repellent to kick up rain protection when the clouds really open up. Waterproof zippers further lock out wetness and a flap on the back pocket keep your food and gear dry. A slightly looser commuter fit and a long back cut let you zip the Pioggia Jacket over a long-sleeve jersey for four-season use. The Pioggia has reflective Castelli logos and piping, and it fits into its own back pocket for on-the-go rain protection.

I read the previous reviews saying size up, and thankfully they had a 3X in stock, but it was still far too small. I'm a fairly large person, not fat, but large all the way through. This fit tightly across my back, under the arms, and in the forearms. On top of all that, it hit pretty high on my torso (above the belly button). I would have really liked it outside of the size issue, and the return was smooth and very quick.

Got this for 25 bucks on SAC. Certainly fit the bill for a bright, cheap, reflective jacket which is what I was looking for. The scorpions and numerous Castelli logos (barely visible in photo) really, REALLY light up at night! The "commuter fit" is Euro so order a size up. I wear a large and the XL is snug (as it is supposed to be). Not sure about waterproofness (I use another jacket in rain) but it's not breathable. No hood, zips on the left. Well made-certainly well worth 25 bucks - not sure about a hundred. I'm a Scorpio-so the scorpions don't scare me. Hi Cat.

I got harassed by a million middle school kids todays because my jacket was so bling and possibly stylin'. Harassed isn't the right word exactly, because they were into it, but who needs attention from the youth of today? I'm happy though because it kept me dry in the weather apocalypse, front and back. The only thing that would make it better would be vents for when it wasn't raining, and also, less stupid scorpions. Castelli makes some nice gear, but they should knock that off.
