Description of Columbia Crag Mountain II Softshell Jacket - Men's:
With the Columbia Men’s Crag Mountain II Softshell Jacket, you get the waterproof breathable protection of a hardshell with the unrestricting stretch of a softshell. The jacket’s wicking liner helps pull moisture from your body during high-output activities, and the waterproof shell fabric shields you from nasty weather. Wear it alone on wet bike rides or cool fall hikes, or zip it into a compatible Columbia shell for a bombproof ski jacket.
Bottom Line: The perfect blend of stretch and protection.
Excellent jacket, very well made and sturdy feel. As said by Ain, it is less "stretchy" than other soft shells I've had, but that is because it is a more solid jacket, quite capable and handling a beating. I am 5'10 and 130 lbs and a medium fits me very well, with enough room for 2 layers. Also, this jacket is not super warm, if you are going to be in a cold area you will need base layers with it. Otherwise great buy
I love this jaket. I was looking for a jacket that could stand up to rain, snow, and high winds, and on top of that, still be the right weight that I can wear it in the fall or spring. So far, its been perfect, and I wear it all the time. Its waterproof, you don't even feel the wind while your wearing it, and I'm sure it'll do just as good in the winter as well. It moves well with you, without restricting movement the way most jackets that are form-fitting do. Worth every penney, and I'd definitely pick this jacket over all of the North Face jackets that I see around.
5'10" 160 I liked the fit of the medium with only one base layer. Great for the motorcycle in jacket weather and never got wet around town.
It's a bit less stretchy than other thinner H02 repellent softshells but fine for things other than running.
The zipper started pulling apart from the bottom so I returned it for the lifetime guarantee.
Considering i paid $60 on closeout I'm happy.
