Description of Columbia Waypoint Light Fleece Jacket - Full-Zip - Men's:
No matter what season it is, there’s a good chance that the Columbia Men’s Waypoint Light Full-Zip Fleece Jacket will come in handy. This toasty fleece is made from 100% recycled polyester, and it zips into compatible Columbia shell jackets for a warm and waterproof ski jacket. Columbia added a chest pocket for your MP3 player or energy bar and a drawcord hem to seal out chilly breezes.
I used the jacket on a recent trip to Italy and found that at 10 degrees C it kept me plenty warm. I would imagine that it would be fine at 0 degrees C with my nylon wind breaker. I like the fit and looks though I wish I had purchased the black color.
I bought the Waypoint Light Fleece Jacket because it was the lightest weight (255 grams) and is in the Interchange System to fit in my Columbia Titanium Caddy Shack jacket.
The jacket by itelf is great. However, I'm a bit disappointed in how it fits in the Caddy Shack. With the inside of the jacket being the fleece material, it grabs you when putting the jacket on and really grabs you when you are pulling the jacket off. It's like you have to grab the inside of the cuff to not rip it from the snap fitting. If the fleece had a slick sleeve interior, it wouldn't do that.
I love the Crag Mountain Softshell jacket and wish that style of jacket could be the liner for the Caddy Shack.
By itself, the fleece jacket is fine. I'm very happy with it.
