Granted, I haven't tried this in the dead of winter, but for everything from cold weather to the warm spring rain, this jacket is great. The waterproofing is fantastic. I just wish Columbia made a jacket in this size range with this level of waterproofing and a inner-layer that was more than just a fleece. Other than that, great.
Price was fantastic too.
I bought this jacket for my grandson (age3) and it thrilled my daughter. It is warm, comfortable, & stylish
with enough room to grow. He wears the inner layer for times when it is not sooooo cold. It's a great jacket!
