This jacket rocks in cold weather. In gusty, very cold conditions I barely notice while my friends are shivering. I love putting my hands in the pockets... the pockets are soft. I also really enjoy the underarm vents that I can zip or unzip as necessary - keeps my from getting stinky under all that very effective, but surprisingly lightweight insulation. This jacket is a winner, plus it looks great!
I was impressed with others' comments on this parka, and looked forward to wearing it here in NW Vermont this winter. But when it came and I tried it on, it was so narrowly cut I couldn't even zip it up.
I'm only about 110 pounds, so the problem was not me!
Am sending it back.
Bought the Jacket for my wife. She loved it but was the wrong size so it had to be returned. The only bad thing is that they do not have other sizes for it so I had to look for the jacket somewhere else. Besides that great service and I'll keep my business with Backcountry.com
