Wear the Columbia Women’s Rogue Parka on cold winter ski days. When it gets warm, shed the removable insulated liner, detach the shell’s storm hood, open the Underarm zips, and ride with the Rogue’s outer shell. The powder skirt on this Columbia three-in-one parka blocks snow on waist-deep days and the 10K-rated fabric and critically taped seams help keep wetness out. The radial sleeve construction and articulated elbows create more space so you can move your arms without feeling like you’ll split a seam.
Bottom Line: Layering choices every day of the winter and spring.
Just bought this coat a week ago after trying on not less than about 30 coats (no kidding). Why this coat and not the 29 others? Well being a fan of Columbia clothing as well as footwear, I know this coat will not let me down, love the fit, feel, and option of having 3 coats in 1. Already tried it out in REALLY windy conditions and minus 16 degree celcius weather and it was super warm, without feeling bulky. Can't wait to try it out on the ski hills. In Canada we have a chocolate brown colour with a pale yellow, not available in the USA I believe, that is the one I chose!!!! Once again the prices are much higher in Canada...too bad!!!
I purchased the black/white Rogue Parka and it's great. The pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone, sunglasses, or even a pen. I took out the liner and just sport a hoodie underneath and it still warm enough for me 45 and below. I have also had several compliments due to the style/design. The coat is worth the money!
I loved this coat, but after skiing only two times, the pull cord at the bottom of the coat busted. Took the coat back and was told by company that normally the first thing to go on a ski jacket is the pull cord. I really enjoyed this coat, but buyer beware of pull cords in the ski coats.
