Cloudveil made the Hoback from Gore-Tex Pro Shell for complete waterproofing and stuffed it with Primaloft One insulation. This synthetic insulation replaces bulky stacks of layers, so you not only stay warm but don’t feel thick or puffy. Underarm zips give you the option to cool off should the storm abate, and stretch side panels let you move and groove on your one or two planks.

Bottom Line: You’ll make fresh tracks instead of nursing a beer while wishing for better weather.
