Description of Cloudveil Four Pines Insulated Parka - Men's:
Cloudveil designed the progressive, Teton-inspired Men’s Four Pines Insulated Parka with new-school style and tons of functional features for backcountry or inbounds riding. Thanks to Tweaker Tweed waterproof breathable fabric and PrimaLoft insulation, you’ll feel nothing but dry warmth as you drop in to powder-filled bliss. Mesh-backed Underarm zips let you ventilate while you ski, and the hood zips off for riding with a helmet. The gripper powder skirt keeps out the fluff when you eat it on a big drop. Fleece body-mapping up the back provides added warmth to the core, and pockets for your goggles, MP3 player, and season pass keep you organized from the groomers to the backcountry deeps.
Bottom Line: A functional freeride jacket with progressive style.
I have had my Cloudveil a year - I saw one in Sports LTD @ South Lake Tahoe and loved it but I was short of cash. When I got home to the UK I searched on ebay and there was one in my size at a bargain price. Now, this is not the most technical jacket you will ever own(Lack of wrist gaitors gets my goat) but it looks great on and has enough useful features to make it a worthwhile purchase. It is quite a close fit so I would recommend ordering a size up. I cannot think of anything negative to say about it, so lets leave it there.
