Description of Cloudveil Run Don't Walk Boxer - Men's:
Cloudveil made the Men's Run Don't Walk Boxers out of Polartec Power Stretch fleece, to keep your ass(ets) warm when you're sprinting snowy laps around the lodge. We don't know why it took forever to find warm winter boxer shorts, but thank heaven for Cloudveil. The Run Don't Walk Boxers go perfectly between your baselayer and bibs on supercold riding days, under regular pants for the walk to the Virginian in January, and flapping free in the breeze when you get shut out at beer pong.
Bottom Line: The Run Don't Walk Boxer keeps the climate fair down there in the arctic air.
These are great fleece type boxers. They keep your but warm on the chairlift and your mid-section warm on cold days. I wouldn't tour in them unless it was very cold to avoid heavy sweating. These are also great for sleeping in when in cold weather. These are a definite need.
"Bullet Proof Boxers" is what my ex-girlfriend used to refer to them as. I picked these up because I was losing valuable heat through my ass when sitting on the lift with just my shell and icebreaker 200 weight bottoms. They did the trick. My ass stays warm, they wick quite well, and they can hang with the ice breakers on the stink factor. 5 straight days skiing in the Kootenay's without a wash and not a trace of funk. I only wish I went with the calf length version as my knees get chilled when the temp drop.
What can you say about underwear? They feel great against the skin and keep my middle-section toasty. These aren't too high on the hips, nor too low on the behind. I haven't had any prolonged treks in them, so I can't tell you about the stink-resistance. My next big venture is not until November of this year, and these will be going with me.
My Hanes won't. But for the cost, I'll take these over my Hanes any day.
Highest marks.
