Description of Cloudveil Zero-G Pant - Men's: |
 |
The Cloudveil Men's Zero-G Pants combine Soft Shell DX fabric with 60g of synthetic insulation for exceptional warmth and ample breathability. These pants just beg to go on dawn patrol tours, frigid mid-winter ski days with lots of vert, and yo-yo laps out of your local resort. Suspenders keep the Zero-G Pants securely in place on the uphill tour, and gaiters keep the snow out as you enjoy the freshies on the way down. On warmer days, long side zips help vent heat.
Bottom Line: The Cloudveil Zero-G Pants deliver top-of-the-line performance on freezing-cold ski days.

| Cool pant, but awkward fit. 12-14-08 |
Warren Samuels (2): |
| Cool pants, with good features and nice materials, but the fit is a little funny. A little too long, and the gaiters are real stiff and also tight around the boot, which makes the pants bunch at the knees. So from the knee down they dont fit very comfortable. I feel the real problem is the gaiters. Other than that they are sweet, real warm, waist is comfy and super adjustable, good stretch and vents are pretty sweet. If it wasnt for the awkward fit from the knees down I would love them! |

| Best pant I've owned... 05-18-09 |

| Wound up in Tahoe this spring unexpectedly, and since I didn't have my gear, I picked these pants up in the local shop for 50% off. This is the first piece of gear I've ever bought w/o Gortex, and while I was nervous, these pants kept my warm and dry on a wet bluebird day and a few days later in blizzard conditions. All I wore underneath them was an old pair of long johns, and the backs of my thighs got a little cold on the longer lifts, but I'm not complaining. They breathed well and kept me dry. I'm 6'3 with a 34" inseam and a 34" waist and I got the large. Fit me perfectly. As for the other reviwer's problem with getting the legs over the boots, they are a bit tight, but nothing you can't manage. I look at it this way...that extra-close fit helps keep the powder out! These are highly recommended! |

| Great pant 02-17-09 |

| I have really enjoyed these pants, they have performed well. I've skied in them two times with only silk thermals underneath (once around 20 degrees and another time around 30) and I was plenty warm while moving, but got a little cool on the lift. The other time it was 7 degrees. I wore a pair of silk thermals and fleece pants underneath, and was toasty all day. I'm traveling to Fairbanks,AK in about a week, so we'll see how they perform there. |
