Yeah, I’ve owned many ski jackets in the past, but this has to be the finest quality jacket my body has been in. The RPK is cut for layering (which will be needed because there is no insulation), and keeps movements free and easy. Great powder skirt, and you won't notice it when not in use. I've compared this Cloudveil quality and construction to Arc'teryx, and it is as good or better and a bit less expensive. I admit I am probably a bit biased because I now own 3 Cloudveil jackets (Drizzle, 16 Penny, and RPK.) Try a Cloudveil product, and you will feel the same. These guys are pros and deserve props for their great product and product knowledge! Happy Trails...

After reading the reviews decided to give it a try. Concur with the other reviewers, this jacket is made of soft fabric, great shape and finishing. Very impressed with the jacket and I am sure many happy ski days are ahead in it !

This jacket is an excellent ski jacket. The fit is good but not too slim, just roomy enough for layering. It has a great hood that fits easily over a helmet although its tough to keep on at speed. The Gore-Tex softshell fabric is great and heavy duty- not easy to slice with ski edges like some of the other shells on the market. It also will keep you really dry when its dumping. Though its pricey, its bomber construction should hold up for years.
