| I own one pair and am now contemplating purchasing two more. If, by weird, the previous reviewer means that the hip pockets seem rather high, I agree. The shorts do dry quickly though and was a feature I was looking for in a fishing, boating, hiking, and climbing short. The zippered front thigh pocket allows me to completely secure my pocket knife for ready availability and no fear of loss. They are light, fit well, and wear as though they aren't there. I would recommend them. |

| Soft shell shorts? 05-16-09 |
Darksider (3): |
| I was curious what the material would be like, and so far I am not disappointed. It is not like the fleeced-back soft shell of, say, a North Face Bionic jacket. The material is like ski pants made out of fabric by Schoeller.
These shorts are perfect for hiking and climbing, and I will probably use them mountain biking, too. They have a rugged build, yet flex well. The zippered front pockets will make sure that nothing hops out of your pockets no matter what you are doing. |

| Review Title 10-21-09 |

| Wow these are the best shorts I have every put on. The material is plush and stretchy and I feel like I am suspended naked in a bath tub full of cotton balls with warm air being infused from below...yeah really that good. I haven't had them long enough to speak for durablity, but I hope for the best because the initial build and stitch quality appear great. The pockets are place well and I like the zips. The back pocket is velcro which kind of sucks, because my shirts get stuck on it if I dont close it properly after getting my wallet. All in all money WELL spent. |
