Description of Burton AK Rotor Insulated Jacket - Women's: |
 |
Shred the gnarliest of storms completely uninhibited with the Burton Women’s AK Rotor Insulated Jacket. Burton gave this jacket a Gore-Tex jacquard shell, fully taped every seam with Gore-Seam tape, and threw on the Riri AQUAzip water-resistant zippers to give you an impenetrable fortress of shredder steeze. Stuffed with Primaloft insulation, the AK Rotor Jacket wraps you in a cocoon of warmth while you bomb death chutes and give Old Man Winter the brush-off. Open up the under-arm zips to dump excess heat when you’re charging hard, and safely stash your ridiculously overpriced pass in the laminated internal pass pocket. **DISCONTINUED**
Bottom Line: Fly under winter’s radar.

| I've ended my search for the perfect ski jacket. It covers all the bases: water proof, helmet-capatible hood, snow skirt, and ski pass pocket. Plus off-the-hook style with unique details that make it stand out on and off the slopes. Love the groovy wavy pattern in the fabric, patch pocket, and flattering cut. All this and comfortable too. Zoe my cat agrees -- she's just discovered it and has curled up on top of it. The fabric is super soft, just the right amount of insulation, with plenty of room to move (but not too baggy or bulky). It runs true to size. I normally wear a size 8 (5'3", 130 lbs, 35" chest, 29" waist, 39" hips) and am between a small and medium in most jackets. The Burton size chart seems to run small based on the measurements, but the medium fit me fine. I may have even been able to go with a small, but I wanted to leave room for layers. The sleeves are a bit long for me but they roll up nicely. I'm so happy with this I decided to splurge on the Burton AK Statis 3L pant, which zip into this jacket. |

| great jacket :) 03-18-09 |

| This jacket is great. Warm, but not bulky. I got the black...one minor note...the zipper was gray on mine, definitely not black like shown. The fabric is sweet, and the cuffs make it easy to secure them over bulky mittens as there is no restrictive elastic. |
