Walker, go home, the Mark XIII Ranger Jacket isn’t for cowboys. As part of Burton’s limited edition Mark XIII line, the Ranger is for ballers on the hill. Burton coated the Bedford corduroy shell material with a 10K waterproof finish so it won’t turn into a sopping mess on the chair, and gave it underarm zips to help regulate your temp. For high-roller style, there’s removable fur trim on the hood, a satin lining, and a high buttoned collar.
Oh, and I only paid $89 for this coat, and it's DEFINITELY worth that. I'd certainly love to have the money to pay $700 for a coat, but that just won't happen.
I'm a big fan of this coat. Granted, I haven't been able to wear it in the really cold, so I don't know how it stands up there, but it's serious comfort, and wore it in the rain to amuse myself. Kept me bone dry. I am a little worried about the magnetic closures where the buttons are (it does zip) but time will tell.
