Description of Burton CO2 Snowboard Binding:

The Burton CO2 Snowboard Binding uses a dual-component baseplate to soften the lateral flex while maintaining a stiff front-to-back feel for supreme edge control. Gapless padding and B3 Gel heel cushioning takes the bite out of hard landings and high-speed chatter. This ultra-responsive binding includes a Canted Living Hinge highback for precision forward-lean adjustment and Burton's Ultra Capstrap toe strap to lock in your boot and eliminate pressure points. No wonder so many pros count on the CO2 Binding when they want to squeeze every speck of performance from their snowboard. - Fall 2008.

Amazing bindings... 03-26-09

These are by far worth the money. I bought my set of CO2's late season, got an awesome awesome deal on them and I am so glad i spent the money for them! I would definitely pay the $350 Burton wants for them especially since i have ridden them. The response is amazing. every little input you give to your board is there and when you step up from old '05 customs to '08/'09 CO2s the difference is so noticable! snow skating alone is changed hugely. it is hardly an effort to spin my board around now right after hopping off the lift. and the cushioning on the baseplates. these bindings are Godly. I only used them once or twice this season. I did a 24 hour event at the local place i ride and i rode as hard as i could all night long. i jumped as hard as i could to land as hard as possible and the padding makes all the landings so soft. if you have just enough cash to buy them DO IT. THE SHIPPING IS FREE! Don't sit on the fence, drop the cash and get some of the best bindings out there.

Made in China (cheaply) 02-18-09

I have been very disappointed with my CO2 bindings. The 3rd time out i broke a toe ratchet. Then i cracked the high back the 4th time out (as well as bust the lace cleat on my boot). Burton was no help when i called to try and get it replaced. They may have had a nice product back in the day but todays products are made as cheaply as possible. I don't trust this stuff to go in to the backcountry it not dependable when it counts.
