Burton built the Blunt Snowboard as tough as a tank and gave it a soft, buttery flex to help you throw down with style on every rail or box you encounter. A negative core profile lets you nose and tail press like you always dreamed of doing, and a low swing weight helps you get in that 270 onto the rail. Burton used an easy-to-maintain Lightspeed Vision base to save you from all-night P-tex sessions and still give you enough speed to hit the big park kickers or gap your neighbor's car. Burton's new rail-ready edge tune lets you slide without hangups. Best of all, the Blunt Snowboard won't bleed you dry if you ride hard enough to need a new board every season. *Available for US Shipment Only. *We can't control which color base you get. But we're confident you'll dig it. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: Burton created the Blunt Snowboard for riders who rip a little harder and abuse their boards a little more than others.
the board is great. it's super lightweight with a good amount of pop. it has a great feel to it. i put some burton customs on it nd it was set. i would highly recommend it for the price
I've taken this board out about four times now, but the top sheet is already cracking and there are considerable chips in the laminate. This board has a problem with that. I haven't done any hard core riding on it. Don't listen to burton's blurb up top, this board is definitely NOT a tank. I haven't even really broken it in yet and i've already gotta send it in for warranty work, that is ridiculous. I only give it a two because it handles well and has decent pop. Don't buy burton because of the name. Check out rome or ride first, burton's quality is on the decline, but at least they have a good warranty.
