Burton went to their up-and-coming riders like Jack Mitrani and Brandan Keenan to give the Farm Snowboard a unique ride and feel that slays terrain parks with new-school ease. The combination of a mid-wide shape, forgiving flex, and a negative core profile creates a board that jibs like butter and still has enough clout for big hits and powder shots. A Sintered Vision base gives you the speed to clear a 50-foot table, and 10:45 sidewalls provide extra durability if you come up short on a rail transfer. Burton added Pro-Tip construction for reduced swing weight and Infinite Ride construction to keep the Farm going strong for years. *We have no control over which color you receive, but they all rock. - Fall 2008.
I got this board half-way through the season and and was super surprised how good the board was...its nice and stable on landings and is super predictable. The board is good and flexible for jibbing but still has a surprising amount of pop! No one will have a board that looks anything like it either...and that is always a plus!
I just bought this ride and can't wait for winter. Few boards offer such a cool graphic done by an Artist - Mikey Welsh. (former bass player for Weezer... check out the vid on Burtondotcom to see inspiration of the artist) A directional twin good for learning goofy.
Great board for what you pay for. I think it's a good all around deal, good if you like a little bit of everything but aren't quite ready to go pro in any of those fields.
i was only able to take mine out a few times this past year, we'll see how more abuse fairs it....
