Rippers like Terje Haakonsen and Nicolas Müller demand a lightweight deck that can be ridden in all conditions, so Burton built them the T6 Snowboard. This ride packs a lightweight chassis and all-mountain shape that excels everywhere from steep couloirs to the planet's biggest terrain parks. Backcountry powder lines and superpipes all fall prey to the T6's combination of snappy flex and featherweight construction. Burton even updated the T6 with Smooth Ride technology for a damper feel than in the past. Stainless steel edges, a sintered WFO base, Pro-Tip, and the amazing Alumafly core team up to give the Burton team what they want. *We have no control over which base color you receive, but Burton makes nothing but sweet-looking boards, so you'll be stoked no matter what. **DISCONTINUED**
I have last years model, which is my second T6, and I absolutely love it. Great edge grip, incredibly fast, craves like a dream. The honeycomb core keeps its flex a lot longer than any wood core board. I rode my first T6 for over 150 days before it started to get a little soft. Very stiff and responsive, so not recommended for beginner or intermediate riders.
I have to start with saying, this isn't a board for everyone. It's stiff and it's powerful and the Alumnafly core definitely feels unlike anything you've ever ridden. But if you have the skill and drive to really ride this board the way it needs to be ridden it is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll have on a board. I've ridden this board as my every day, every condition board for years and it's amazing. It's response is such that you'll think it reads your mind and it's edge hold and power are so tenacious you'll scratch your head at the bottom of your line wondering "how did I do that?"
Just got the new t6, I have the older t6 just before they added the damnping system to it, thatwas a great board road like a porsche down groomers and cut through crud. this board is for a advanced rider. The new t6 with the damping system rides just as good or better but has more pop for hits. Best all mountain board I have riden!!!!!!
