Description of Burton Expedition Weight 1/4-Zip Top - Women's:
Is your jacket not quite warm enough for today's chilly weather? Start your layering with the Burton Women's Expedition ¼-Zip Top to fight off the chill. This top’s heavyweight stretch microfleece material provides a low-profile fit that won't bunch under your fleece, and the Expedition has an extra long body so your lower back won’t freeze when you bend down to strap in. - Fall 2008.
I have this in Tropical Green and Black I think this top is great keeps you warm and I can get away with wearing it to work too. It has thumb holes and fits comfortably. Maybe a little long in the arms but its better than being short in the arms.
This top runs long in both arms and length. I'm 5"8" and clothing is frequently a little short so it's great for me. The top zips into a turtle neck, when it is partially zipped you have a nice collar that lays flat and doesn't brush your chin like mock turtlenecks do. I bought tropical green and the color is pretty close to what you see online. I love this top, but it's not for short girls.
I can't take the cold weather very well, but I love living in a country where it snows ^_^ I love snowboarding. So I have searched and bought all kind of so-call "warm", "heavyweight" first layers. This one doesn't fail my test ^_^ I wear it as a second layer on 15-25 degrees and it really does the job. If you are "normal", this one is more than enough. I am 166 cm, 130 LB, small is good for me. Warning!! body length is long which I love and do not trust Burton's size chart :( buy 2 sizes, and return one.
