Description of Burton Shank Gore-Tex Signature Fit Pant - Men's:
The Burton Men’s Shank Gore-Tex Signature Fit Pant combines the protection of Gore-Tex and the style of denim. Burton’s loose sig-fit and articulated knees relax your moves without causing a baggy distraction. Burton taped the Shank’s seams with Gore-Seam tape for serious weather protection. Mesh-lined inner thigh vents keep a swamp from forming in your nether regions. The Shank’s microfleece fly and waistband add plush comfort, while ghetto slits, a cuff-to-boot interface, and snap-up leg lifts distinguish you from the other inmates. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: Keep the Shank Pant handy. You never know when you’ll need Burton protection.
While riding powder, snow stuck to these pants like crazy! I'm pretty bummed. Also no mesh on the vents...I expected more from Burton on this product.
I ended up returning them.
These pants are so thugged out, I feel like I don't have enough guns to shove in the waistband. SUPER baggy. Yeah, it's August but there are some things I noticed right off the bat. 1. Baggy as hell. 2. They're actually denim-- deep blue raw color. 3. DEnim is all they are, no liner or anything so they're pretty lightweight and I'll prob need to wear longjohns. 4. All pockets zip. 5. NO MESH over the innner thigh vents-- Burton WTF? that shit's wack as hell. The venting is a detail, and the style is off the Sickter Scale.
