Description of Burton 3L Hybrid Jacket: |
 |
Zip up the Burton 3L Hybrid Jacket and turn your riding up full throttle. Burton’s Dryride Durashell three-layer construction helps keep you warm and dry, so you can shred the nasty while everyone else blows on soup in the lodge. The 3L Hybrid’s new Engineered Lining System welds insulating panels to the backside of the three-layer fabric in heat-critical zones to retain more heat and increase breathability. Burton taped the seams of the Sig-fit (slightly baggy and long) 3L Hybrid Jacket, and gave it handwarmer pockets with waterproof zippers, a no-chafe chin collar, a goggle pocket, and more features than we can put on one page. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: Save gas mileage and shred harder in the Burton 3L Hybrid Jacket.

| haven't been able to test it out in the wild yet, but so far i love it. i've owned enough burton gear to know the quality in their products. and i have no doubt it will be bomb proof for the descents. i just hope it will be breathable enough for the way up. in situations where it is not, it's definitely small enough to fit in my pack.
i'm 6'1" 170 lbs. and the small fits perfect, which is a little unusual — generally i wear a medium. but after having tried on the latest burton garb, i noticed that their stuff is running a little big these days, so i went with the small. i also have long arms, so im glad there's enough length there too.
the hazel isn't quite as dark as the photo above, which was also a nice surprise.
if this thing had wrist gaiters, it would get 6 stars. |

| Haven't worn on the mountain yet since I just bought it and it is still summer. Did wear it in a hard rain and it kept me nice and dry. Has good warmth for a shell, but is a shell nonetheless. I imagine you would need to layer on cold days. Hazel def looks more green than brown, which I prefer. Works great to zip into 3L cirque pants. Ready to test in the winter, snow needs to get here soon! |
