Description of Burton AK 2L Stagger Pant - Men's: |
 |
Trips to the mountains can get messy. With Gore-Tex Performance Shell material, the Burton Men's AK 2L Stagger Pant have your back. These shell pants feature fleece at the seat and knees and are guaranteed to keep you dry, so if you wake up in a snowbank with a beer in your hand, at least you know your lower half won’t be frozen solid. When you stagger to the mountain the next day, the Burton AQUAzip water-resistant zippers and Gore-Seam Tape lock out the snow even more, while the Crossflow Venting keeps you cool as you hike to those fresh stashes. Because nothing cures hangovers like fresh powder. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: For all-mountain staggering

| Breathable, tons of pockets and the jacket pant interface rules!! Internal waist adjustment is great to have so you don't necessarily need a belt. Tough enough to slash the trees and steezy enough to rock the park. |

| I loved these pants initially because they are very comfortable, waterproof, relatively breathable, and they have some nifty features (pants cuff snap comes to mind) and great pocket placement. Unfortunately, as another guy mentioned, their durability is none too stellar. I've put roughly 15 days on mine and there is some mild fraying and tiny cuts from incidentally contact with snowboard edges. I'll take some blame for the cuts (maybe I should be more careful when carrying boards), but the fabric fraying at this price point are a bit ridiculous. I got them cheap, so I'm not terribly concerned, but I don't know if I'd buy Burton outerwear again. |

| I got maybe 20 days out of these before the fabric wore out and the pocket fell off. since that's where the waterproofing is they were dead after that. fabric was pretty worn out in other places too. Not even close to worth the price. I'll give them 3 stars for breathability though, they are nice to hike in, got not daily resort riding. |
