These are pure shell pants. There is no linining (mesh or fleece) to these pants. The description may be old. The material is super light and very waterproof, but if you're looking for a more substantial pant, this is not it. The pant is the slimmest fit of any Burton pant. Very cool pant, but know what you're buying. This is a serious backcountry, waterproof pant.
