| I have lots of jackets and am tired of getting on the mountain on warmer or wet days with a heavy jacket, when all I need is a shell. This jacket is perfect, it is super lightweight and super waterproof. I wear it on powder days sometimes with a fleece underneath. Style is super clean too. No regrets. |

| Technical shell - but pricey 02-11-09 |

| I have this shell in I-Dot red and absolutely love the style. The jacket itself is a pure shell. There's no insulation, so be prepared to layer up like crazy. This jacket does exactly what its advertised to do; which is to serve as a shell. It has an array of technical features that stops water from permeating through. I have to say that the jacket is a bit pricey, but it has a stylish flair that helps to justify the cost. The best thing about this shell is that its insanely light and thin; you wouldn't even know that you had it on. I would recommend it for the Idiom enthusiast. |
