Description of Burton Hook Softshell Jacket - Men's:
While it might feel soft, the Burton Men's Hook Softshell Jacket tackles hardcore winter storms with ease. This softshell jacket's 20K waterproof, windproof fabric fends off driving snow, yet remains breathable. When the wind threatens to give you frostbite, pull on the Burton Hook Softshell's hood and hide your face under the jacket's collar. Fleece lining and a zipper guard on the chin wick moisture and feel soft against bare skin. When the mercury rises during late spring park sessions, unzip this hooded softshell jacket's Underarm zips to cool off. *Available for U.S. Shipment only.**DISCONTINUED**
Bottom Line: Hook yourself up with a warm, waterproof softshell
I think the fact that I wear this almost every day October-March basically speaks for itself. The fit is good, slim enough to not get in the way of things but loose enough to allow for layering underneath. Its quite water- and wind-resistant, though I wouldn't wear it out in torrential downpours if I could avoid it. I've worn it hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding, as an outer shell in the spring or as a layer in colder weather, and its always served me well. If you want an all purpose softshell where you know you'll get more than your money's worth out of it, look no further.
Warm softshell jacket with great waterproofing. It's a little stiff and a trim cut, but great jacket for all conditions. Wish hood was removable and doesn't have inside pockets.
this jacket is sweet. i wear it starting in september and a wear it all the way till march. works well by itself or you can wear it under a thicker shell on those cold days. brown colour is sick, i've gotten many compliments on this jacket
