Description of Burton Air Snowboard:
The Burton Air Snowboard is a freestyle legend for plenty of reasons: forgiving flex, turn-on-a-dime maneuverability, and high-speed stability, to name a few. Powderhounds and park rats benefit from the Super Fly wood core's low swing weight, the precision handling of Dualzone EGD construction, and the speed of a sintered base. For its 20th anniversary, the Air Snowboard features a more twin-like shape to help you dial your switch landings, and Burton outfitted this classic ride with Pressure Distribution Edges for death-grip on icy, crusty terrain. This all-mountain freestyle board's predictable flex helps you power through sketchy snowscapes, and the Air's Triax Response fiberglass reinforcements provide energetic pop for slope-side hits and gigantic park kickers. We can't control which color you receive, but we know you'll dig it. *Available for U.S. Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: The freestyle legacy returns, revamped and improved, with the Burton Air Snowboard.

Love the board great for da money. Nice on the frontside of the mountain and fun to ride in deep pow and on ungroomed bowls. Edges chip kinda easy. Fogriving if you're like me and not th e best boarder in the world

Burton Air's 20th Anniversary   03-20-08

It is a very good board, perfect for all mountain freestyle and shredding. It is not super stiff, but is definitely not designed for park uses like jibbing, rails and ollies. If all mountain is your thing, this could be the right board for you. It is the 20th anniversary of the air, which was my first ever snowboard, so it has a sentimental value to me as well.

Love it.   05-07-08

This is the board, after nearly 15 years of riding, that I truly learned to ride on. This board did me right on all parts of the mountain. . .deep snow, tight trees, steep bowls, and high speeds on wide open groomers. I'm not much of a park rider so I can't speak to that. I just upgraded to a NeverSummer. While I'm sure I'll find my groove on the new board, I do miss the Burton Air.
