First when I got the jacket out of the packaging, I was a little confused. There were no pit zips, no hood, and no waist gaiter like it says in the description. Even the tags that came on the jacket from Burton list these as the specs! But once I put it on, I knew I wasn't going to send it back. The pictures do not do it justice, it is much cuter on...very cute. It feels lightweight, yet cozy. And it has lots of little pockets without being too bulky. I haven't tried it on the slopes yet, but it will probably be ok for southern California snowboarding or warmer days elsewhere.
I just got this jacket in on behalf of my girlfriend. I was immediately struck by the crunchy sound the fabric tends to make that sounds almost like a heavy plastic bag. The actual fabric is nothing like a plastic bag at all and really nice and smooth but it is still giving me some underlying irritation that I hope I will get over because I think this seems to be a really nice product. Apart from that, all good.
