Burton gave the Women's Commuter Jacket plenty of insulation with a Thermacore synthetic lining and a faux fur-rimmed hood. As temperatures plummet on the slopes and the snow starts to fly, the Commuter Jacket keeps you protected from the elements with a waterproof breathable Storm-lite 3.0 shell and critically taped seams. Burton outfitted this jacket with a stretch powder skirt to keep the snow out as you take advantage of the freshly fallen powder. - Fall 2007.
Bottom Line: Stay warm and stay dry when you wear the Burton Commuter Jacket.
I got this jacket about a week ago, tried it on, it looks really good the only little thing is that the stomach just seems to be a tad bit too big. I'd get a smaller size.. I've noticed all Burton items come bigger then what they say. I got a size small and I should have gotten an x-small because of the stomach. But it is good to have room to move, I have plenty of that in this jacket. This jacket is very light but super warm. I'd definetly buy threw this site again, everything is delivered on the right time.
This jacket is cute, but it's really thin and the fur hood is too small. When I pull the hood over, it practically covers my whole face, blocking my view. The inside lining has ugly patterns, stripes in a lot of "girly" colors, pink, purple etc. I'm not really a girly girl so I didn't really like it. Also, it had an unflattering fit. I'm an average sized girl, 5'4, size 5 pants, 135 lbs and I got a medium. It fit, but it made me look like I had no curves. It actually made me look like I had a big belly! I bought it for $70, pretty cheap so, I'm still going to keep it.
This jacket is awesome! I bought it in Dublin and I love it. The jacket is pretty thin, but extra warm. It's great because you get the warmth without all the puff.
