The Black Diamond Traverse Mitts keep your hands warm on extremely cold skiing and mountain trips, and thanks to their wearable, removable liner, you can use them in warmer conditions as well. Waterproof breathable BDry inserts keep moisture away from your hands, and the shell's fleece lining gives them just the right amount of warmth for moderate weather. Wear the Traverse Mitts PrimaLoft liner in a bit colder weather, or combine the two when temps drop low enough to freeze the water bottles in your pack. Black Diamond completed these top-notch mitts with tough leather palms to handle the abuses of burly days it the mountains.

Good quality mitten. Leather construction in the right spots (inside and out) removable liner to make them easy to wash, hooks & drawstrings, water proof outer shell, and nice color & pattern. I was pleased with the payment method and very fast shipping. Was packaged well also.

Durability could be better on this mitt. BD needs to wrap the palm over the pinki . This is the only area where wear is seen. The palm has stood up to a long season, The cuff fits under a sleeve but is a little bulky but not uncomfy. I never used the inner liners in these gloves -they seemed to be warm enough on most days with out them.

Comfortable and warm. I traded a pair of gloves for mittens to get the finger on finger warmth and it was well worth it. Too bad it's warming up already, so I don't get to test them in the heart of the winter cold. Oh well, next year. I gave them four stars since I haven't severely tested them yet.
