Description of Black Diamond Diva Harness - Women's:
The Black Diamond Diva is a shaved-to-the-bare-bones women's harness for ladies who're tugging hard on their latest sport route. Ounces count during the last few moves to the anchor. That's why Black Diamond used a mixture of nylon and closed-cell foam to drop the Diva's weight to 10.6oz. Two gear loops hold just enough draws to get you up a rope stretcher at Maple, and quick-clip carabiner loops allow fast access to your draws in really desperate moments.
Bottom Line: Time to redpoint your project? Pull it down in the Black Diamond Diva Women's Harness.
Got this for my wife when we had never climbed outside. She still uses it in the gym, and it is comfy and durable for that purpose. She doesn't so much like it outside due to the lack of a haul loop and the hard plastic gear loops, of which there are only two. Still, it is pretty stinkin' light so she may use it in the future for longer approaches or overnight trips if we're toproping or doing shorter sport routes.
I started climbing a few months ago, and I was renting a Mad Rock harness at the gym. It was really heavy and didn't give great leg support.
This harness is super light, which is great (one less distraction when climbing). It is very reasonably priced, very comfortable, and I thought it fit true to size (I wear a size 12 and I bought the XL). It sits snug on the waist and you can adjust the distance between the waist and the leg loops for the best fit.
Only downside is that you can't adjust the width of the leg loops--luckily they fit snugly on my thighs, and they're super cushiony. No central place to attach a chalk bag, but there are attachment sites slightly right and left of center, so accessing chalk is still easy.
Quite pleased with my harness!
This harness didn't quite fit me. The material was thicker than I like, and the leg loops felt too loose. Otherwise, it was a light harness, and it is fits you, is very good quality.
