Description of Backcountry.com Cocona Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's: |
 |
Tired of being banished to the trunk by your friends on the drive home from climbing, hiking, etc. due to your unpleasant odor? Don the funk-fighting and super-breathable Backcountry.com Men’s Cocona Shirt and say hello to high-tens again. This performance shirt’s magical coconut-carbon Cocona fibers protect and enchant against reeking demons, and flat-locked seams take the rub and chafe out of layering.
Bottom Line: Because your pheromones aren’t doing anything for your climbing buddies.

| Kinda strange fit, but nice none-the -less 06-10-09 |

| Just wore this shirt for the first time on Rainier and the material is fantastic. I had an issue with the fit though, it seems to pull across the chest on the seems at the shoulders, so I wasn't totally stoked on how it sat on my frame. but when a tourist at the White River Campground told me she liked my shirt I thought that was worth at least a mention. |

| Sizing Issues 04-23-09 |

| I am reluctant to rate this shirt. I am giving customer service five stars, and the shirt two stars, for a total of three...
I am a consistent medium in many product lines - 5' 8" and 150 pounds. The medium in this shirt was tight across my back and cut me under the armpits. In chatting with Backcountry customer service, we decided to give another color in medium a try, as well as a large. Nice intervention on the part of The Goat. I discovered that the medium in another color fits the same; good consistency, but not right for me. The large was comfortable against my back, but it still cut me in the armpits. Not good. Let me note here that I am not looking for a roomy fit - I intend to run in this piece. I am good with the compression fit of Patagonia's Biostretch. But I am not satisfied with a shirt that pinches my pits and overall feels like the geometry needs some tweaking in the lab. The material and finish of the shirt looks good, and I applaud the reflective logos for safety. I cannot comment on the fabric under active, sweaty conditions. It may be your perfect trail shirt, but it didn't work out for me, unfortunately. |

| Good performance. Weird fit 11-09-09 |

| Usually love bc.com stuff. I'm a big supporter of the brand, and I know they are aware of the athletes needs when they design products. That said, they missed the mark a little with the fit of this shirt. The neck material is not cut correctly and bunched up annoyingly. The arm pits are a little snug, but it fits fine in the rest of the shirt. I have two of them, so i'm pretty sure it's the cut pattern, and not a one-off irregular. |
