Nice ligthweight material, and super soft. I am 6' 180lbs and returned the L for an XL. The L was ok, but was a pretty close fit - not as casual fitting as I like my hoodies, so you might want to size up if you are like me. Haven't had any cold weather to wear it in yet, but seems warm despite its light weight.
Just bought a second Backcountry hoodie for my husband. His first has been through the washer probably 50 times and has endured hiking, biking, kayaking and lots of lazing around too. It's super soft, hasn't lost its color, is warm and looks good.
This is a high quality normal mid-weight sweatshirt that will keep you warm down to about 45 F with the sun out. The sizing is the most important part. It will shrink 5%-10% after washing. I am 5 11 160 lbs with a 38 inch chest, the Medium fits well. The Large had some room, and the small was too tight to wear.
