Wear the Rime alone over a base layer or add another layer on top for a little extra warmth—the dynamic, fitted cut provides all kinds of options. Lined with a soft, wicking fleece layer, the Rime Pullover feels great whether you're on a trail run, or early-morning coffee run. Reflective Backcountry.com logos on the sleeve and collar prevent you from becoming roadkill during night-time jogs, and the welded chest pocket holds your wallet, keys, or energy gel close for easy access.
Bottom Line: When it comes to lightweight, high-aerobic performance, nothing holds a candle to the Backcountry.com Rime Pullover Jacket.
Nice jacket that keeps you warm in moderate conditions. Beware of the sizing - things are smaller than usual - I needed an XL instead of L. One negative - needs a drawstring on the waist. Customer service exceptionally good !
Was able to gobble this up on for half price, and I really like this jacket. It breathes fairly well and rain beads on it a great deal...I have yet to be caught in a strong enough rainstorm to penetrate its outershell. I do have a couple small complaints. One, this isn't your minimalist jacket like those 4oz windbreakers we see, so I think a draw cord for the waist would of been a GREAT addition (I sometimes get updrafts and it slowly rides up due my the waist belt on my hydration pack). Also, the inner layer causes so much friction with my shirts that half the time it takes the shirt with it when I take the jacket off, even when I have the shirt tucked in. overall a great jacket, i'm just not sure if it's good enough for the full price tag.
Best light weight softshell pullover ever. I wished there were some more colors and maybe an embrodered goat label as on shift jacket. I have been an arcteryx junkie and believe that these guys are producing same quality product at much more reasonable pricing.
