Naxo nx02 Alpine Touring Binding
The first real challenger to the Fritschi Freeride alpine touring binding, Naxo's heavy-duty NX01 binding walks the line between climbing efficiency and downhill skiing power and security. This Swiss-born binding continues to be a top choice for skiers who refuse to give up alpine gear security when touring in the backcountry.

Description of Naxo nx02 Alpine Touring Binding:
Hit the skin track and pass all your pinhead buddies on the lightweight strength of the Naxo nx02 Alpine Touring Binding. With a 10 DIN rating, this lightweight Naxo AT binding gives you the strength and drive of standard alpine bindings. Easily switch to the touring mode for exploring the resort periphery, or trek out into the backcountry. The nx02 AT Binding's three-level touring mode makes climbing the steeps a breeze. Naxo's Virtual Rotation System provides the most natural-feeling forward glide while in touring mode than any other AT binding on the market.

Bottom Line: Leave the restrictive resort boundaries behind.

3 Different Different bindings broken   11-10-07

I've had two sets of Naxo 01's and one set of Naxo 21's all mounted on my Line Prophet 130's. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I don't ride that hard, as in taking big cliffs but I would say I'm an average rider. I broke my first pair of Naxo 01's in the heel piece. The second pair in the toe piece and the Naxo 21's broke in the toe piece. I would think twice about buying Naxo's. The only reason why I went through so many pairs is that I kept getting new ones on warranty. I now ride the Fritschi Free Ride Plus and have not had a problem. The decision is yours. Good luck.

i also would think twice about getting these. i have used the nx21's three times and broken the heel piece twice. the worst part was looking down at 2000 feet of knee deep freshies and only having one ski to use. save yourself from a wrecked tour and get something else.

I couldn't agree more with the other reviews. The heel piece broke on both skis at the same moment. Fortunately it was the end of the day and the car was near, but save yourself some grief and buy anything else.
