At 99 millimeters underfoot, the Heaven N’ Hell is plenty wide enough to be a dedicated pow ski for most ladies (at least those of you who live outside of the Wasatch) and it practically dances on top of deep snow…but don’t mistake ‘women’s-specific’ to mean ‘soft n’ easy’. Atomic’s signature snappy flex combined with a long, stable turning radius means it blows noodley fatties away at high speed on hardpack, and in the longer lengths it will overwhelm all but experts who are on top of their game. Very light for its size, with a leather-textured topsheet that’s easy to grip when carrying on your shoulder, the Heaven N’ Hell makes a great backcountry touring ski for the week following a big storm.
