Mother Nature has covered your local mountain with more frosting than your mama could make in a lifetime, and you need something to slice that mountain cake. The Atomic Sugar Daddy Ski makes short work of tall, powdery slopes. A 99-mm waist floats you all over the place, so go ahead and carve your name in cursive on the hill if you can stand to take a break from straight-shotting the steeps all day long. Atomic’s dense yet light Densolite (get it?) core stands up to harsh abuse while maintaining a stiffness that inspires high-speed carving.
Bottom Line: Skis so sweet you’ll frost your pants.
The Sugar Daddy in the 183cm is excellent PNW all around ski. Very stable in wet heavy snow. Great in powder and very powerful on the groomed. I couldn't find the speed limit on these. Would be an outstanding backcountry ski due to its light weight. I was surprised with how quick underfoot these skis were, also due to its stable light weight construction. A lot of new skis have come and gone and the Sugar Daddy is still an excellent choice for most expert skiers.
got these two months ago. been using them all winter out west and at home in the east and in all snow depths that i have encountered for 3 and a half feet to an inch of packed powder they have been great. as others have said these skis are insanely fast but dont let that scare you away because at all speeds from the cat tracks to about 50 55 mph they are stable with no chattering. Great ski.
just got e'm last week, went up for some east coast skiin, surprised these handle ice, hardpack, slush, crud anything and everything, will update on how well they do when i get them in some actual powder
have them in 193, no speed limit, faster than my race skis, forget about short quick turns haha, point them down and fly, they are super stable and seriously fast
