When Arc'teryx made the Women's Witness Long Short, they gave it fatigue patch pockets, plenty of cargo room, and an extended, boulder-problem-friendly length. The extra length just barely covers your knees, for a bit of protection when you're contemplating the next move. Of course, the cotton canvas Witness Short comes with the legendary Arc'teryx precision fit and peerless construction tolerances as well, so you had better like them because they'll be around for a while.
Bottom Line: Cotton shorts never felt as proud before Arc'teryx took over.
These are really great shorts ... they fit extremely well, are very durably made, and even look good! They dry very quickly (but do make a slight swishing sound). Super fun to wear around.
These shorts are great. They definately run just a little small, I usually wear a 6, but the 8 was perfect. They sit a little low, perfect for me, so not too low.
