| So Versatile, so comfortable 09-23-09 |

| The Arc'teryx Palisade Cropper Pant is an execellent pant-knicker for just about everything from trail running to climbing to using while mountain biking or skateboarding. Very light weight and versatile. I recently used them in a 17 mile mountain trail race that had over 5,000 feet of ascent and 4500 of descent. The weather was marginal, thus I felt the extra length would come in handy. The adjustable waist band was easy to adjust during the race and kept the pant in position. There are enough pockets to store all kinds of stuff (ID's, gels, cell phone, etc). Highly recommend these pants!!! |

| These pants are just about perfect. They fit well and are comfortable. I took them backpacking last weekend and they were very comfortable, but not the best for backpacking. If you like to hike in shorts, then you will love these, but I usually hike in long pants, and my ankles got eaten alive in the overgrown woods of southern Indiana, but that is not really the pant's fault. They are great at the local climbing gym and around town, and I would imagine anywhere where you are not tramping around in dense vegitation. Buy them, you won't regret it! |

| I love these croppers. I've owned a pair for 2+ years, and use them for everything - except climbing, which I don't do. They are very thin and breath great, but are really very tough. One small tear in 2 years of very hard use, which was a quick repair, and I use them all the time still. Just bought 2 more because I wear them pretty much every day..
I really like the 5 zippered pockets - can stow phone, wallet, camera, keys, and glasses and they don't fall out. The pockets are all flush, so they don't catch on things and look sleek.
I use them to hike, backpack, garden, bicycle (doesn't catch on chain because they are croppers), sail my dingy (nothing falls out of the pockets and I can fit my phone in it's dry bag in one of the pockets), and even swim (they are such thin material and don't absorb water and dry quick and have that lovely belt thingy built in so they don't fall off). And they look so nice I wear them around town too. One of the two pair of pants I took to backpack around Belgium and Switzerland last summer, and I was so happy I had them.
They are also very comfortable to wear. I am always bummed when it gets a bit too cold to wear them, as I am obviously mildly in love with them. |
