Description of Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket - Women's:
Arc'teryx used waterproof breathable Gore-Tex Pro fabric and bomber construction to make the Women's Alpha SV Jacket your go-to shell for the mountain's worst storms. Pull up the helmet-compatible storm hood, cinch down the drawstring waist, and stay dry inside the Alpha SV Jacket while the weather blows so hard that tents get shredded and you struggle just to stand. Arc'teryx gave this tough jacket two hand pockets, two chest pockets, two internal pockets, and a sleeve pocket to keep all the necessities available for times when you don't dare open your pack. *Only available for US shipment.
Bottom Line: If you have to battle through horrendous weather, just make sure you do it in the Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket.
That vermillion is really orange. I feel like a traffic cone but at least I wont get lost! Fits like all other Arc'teryx shells, quality made in Canada and bangin' hot.
I bought one of the original models the first year they came out and have had it for nearly 10 years. I live in Colorado and spend more time in the backcountry in all four seasons than anyone I know.
I can't say enough about the jacket.
