I bought this for my wife thinking it would be more of a warm weather jacket because she is always cold. The Colorado winter has been anything buy warm so far and she has not taken the jacket off. It cuts the wind, fits over her helmet AND she is warm (which means less complaining about the cold to me :))!! Buy this jacket!
This is a great backcountry ski coat. It's really light, but warm, good to layer under. The pockets are plenty big to carry skins. The hood is very adjustable and warm. I didn't like the zipper curving at the top very well at first, but after skiing in 30 mph winds with my hood zipped up, I love it.
