Large pockets can hold climbing skins, lunch, or shelter for chilly hands. Stay dry through the fiercest of storms with a hidden hood that easily fits over your climbing helmet. This is my favorite jacket for drizzle to deluge. It's light, breathable and everything you'd ever want in a foul weather companion. Worth every penny!

This jacket should get a 5 rating, but I just can't stop laughing from the zipper cords on my chest. Were they trying to use pasties? Wiggle a lot when you ski for even more giggles. The pull cord for the waist is tricky with gloves on. Other than that the jacket does everything and more. If you find yourself in-between sizes, I'd recommend going larger with this jacket.

I bought this jacket specifically for an early Spring trip to wet, chilly England and it was perfect. With a layer or two underneath it, I was dry and warm and comfortable no matter how bad the weather got. I know it's going to be great next fall and winter too—skiing, camping, and just wearing in the rain. Plus, it looks so good, like all of the Arc’teryx gear.
