The Arc'teryx Men's Delta AR Jacket is a lightweight, highly compressible fleece great for long backcountry sojourns or fast-and-light alpine ascents. Its bulk-free design and gusseted underarms gives you the freedom to tackle any terrain in winter. Wear the Delta AR as an insulating layer under a shell or an outer layer in more moderate weather. Added touches include a full front zip with interior wind flap, a laminated internal chest pocket, a hem drawcord, and two hand pockets with laminated zips. *Available for US shipment only.

Nice looking jacket, warm and fully featured. The one thing I don't like about all Arcteryx jackets and zip pullovers is the neck. Seems to me they are always much larger than they need to be and much larger than the other brands. Arcteryx needs to either change the tailoring in the neck or provide a neck drawcord. Although not quite as good looking, the Patagonia R2 is a trimmer fit and the neck closure is much tighter giving a better seal when fully zipped. Overall, I'd spend my money on Patagonia if I had it to do all over again.

Great mid layer. this jacket is warm and breathes well. exactly what you want on the trail or on the rock. wind will get through if you wear it alone but if you do not have a good shell this would not be ideal.

The Arc'teryx Delta AR Jacket is a great choice for anyone looking for a nice, simple fleece to wear alone or use as a layer when the mercury drops. The description is right on about the compressibility - it can be stuffed into a backpack with no problem.
