"Welded seams" yeah this stands for glue strip ironed inbetween the fabric that rips before you even hit the water for the first time. crap, junk, worthless, time for backcountry to discount them on whiskey.

stay away. wore them 3 times and the seam on the right leg is ripping horribly. sending them back. i think these are more for fashion then actually surfing (read more reviews with similar problems). too bad cause they are nice shorts too.
