Fill the Analog Quantum Backpack with your arsenal of aerosol and set out to paint the town. This durable urban pack hangs tough when you’re dodging the fuzz during a midnight mission. For your day job, Analog added an internal padded laptop sleeve. A fleece-lined pocket protects your sunglasses or your iPod.
This bag looks great in pic but is not so in person. It isn't flat black it has like graphics on it (but thats just minor). The bag is really plasticy and the bottom of it isnt loose - its like a really thick plastic so it sticks out a lot. There arent any useful pockets in the front.
I agree with the other review, stating that the front pocket is pretty much useless. It's an odd shape and has no room to expand to fit anything more than a business card.
Side pockets are nifty, and one has a felt-liner which secures a graphing calculator nicely. The zipper compartment at the top is the perfect size for an MP3 player.
I have a widescreen laptop, and while it fits the laptop sleeve, the strap isn't long enough to secure it. Maybe it should be made to stretch?
My biggest gripe is with the small opening. You have to shuffle books around to remove anything near the front. It's huge at the bottom in all dimensions, but don't expect to be able to remove anything thicker than two notebooks at one time.
Also, my Jansport backpack lasted me for 4 years. This back pack lasted 5 weeks before the seams started showing signs of stretching and tearing. To be fair, I do carry a ton of textbooks, but I didn't expect this kind of wear so soon.
I have the white and blue design. It looks great in person, but I still can't figure out what the pattern is. Closeups and distant shots of a space suit?
I got this pack for school and works well. It has the pocket for the ipod or phone and the side pockets work great for the calculator or books, unfortunately I have not used the computer sleeve yet. Only complaint is that the back is not padded well and does not keep form well, but that no bid deal going from class to class. I wouldn't use it for much else, but it works great for what I need.
