i dig these boardshorts and i am okay with the zipper. pretty much all of volcom's boardshorts also have a zipper. i surf and have paddled out in these numerous times. i have been "jabbed" by the zipper in my volcom boardshorts before, but not in these. they are pretty dope overall.

Ok, these shorts look and feel awesome (got the true black). I dig long shorts and these are a great length. However, a wierd feature is a zipfly. Huh? zipfly on board shorts? I was cool with that until the zipper broke. Maybe a flaw with mine...I would still recommend these shorts though...good return policy so no big deal
