Alpina designed the boot to promote circulation, which prevents cold feet. Thinsulate insulation seals in heat, while a lace cover keeps snow out and prevents the laces from getting iced up. The TR 50 Nordic Boot is a perfect boot for women who ski in cold climates or have chronically cold feet. They are compatible with Alpina and Rossignol NNN Touring bindings.
